WELCOME TO ST MULUMBA CATHOLIC CHAPLAINCY, UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA ENUGU CAMPUS [UNEC]

welcomenote

Our Chaplaincy is a catholic community of students and teachers including parents that sees itself as one family of Jesus Christ, born again through the Holy Spirit and water and nourished regularly by the body and blood of Christ, a family that sees itself as special children of Mary.

A family of people from almost all the ethnic groups in Nigeria gathered under the canopy of St Mulumba one of the martyrs of Uganda coming together to communally and individually live the faith.

We have been gathered together as a family with one common mission – TO UPHOLD THE PURITY OF THE HUMAN PERSON AND NATURE so that at the second coming of Christ he would see that all that he placed under the care of human persons including the human person would be seen to still possess the same purity it had at the inception of creation all for the greater glory of God and the Good of humanity.

This mission statement is the focus of the character formation of our students as well as their intellectual aspiration not neglecting environmental protection and the eco-system.

You are welcome to our web site, hope you will enjoy all we have been doing in our chaplaincy to uphold the purity of the human person and nature. This is a task we have to accomplish through the grace of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
